Winterfest Keeps Christmas Alive in Pigeon Forge

By: MediaConnect / 12 Feb 2017

Christmas and the holiday season isn't over until we say it is here in Pigeon Forge! From November through the end February every year, the town stays as lit as it is on Christmas day. Glimpses of holiday joy and cheer can be found in the eyes of strangers on the street. And aside from the amazing decorations that decorate the buildings of Pigeon Forge, there are still great holiday-themed events and specials at some of our best attractions like Dollywood!

Dollywood, the play land of Pigeon Forge's favorite hometown hero, Dolly Parton, joins the town in keeping up its decorations through the end of February. There is also a nightly parade to check out, along with all the great rides that are offered year round. If you're looking for fun and excitement to go with your winter cheer, look no further! Dolly's Dixie Stampede and Lumberjack Adventure dinner attractions each keep their decorations and shows in lieu with the holidays as well.

Old Mill Square also stays decorated, offering a great mixture of a charming country aesthetic paired with classic Christmas joy. And the Smoky Mountain Opry keeps its giant trees, wreaths, and reindeer to go along with its great holiday shows. You may even get a glimpse of Santa on the roof!

Pretty much everywhere you look, you'll find holiday cheer in Pigeon Forge during Winterfest. One more time, Merry Christmas from us here at the Ramada!
