Three Great Hikes in the Smoky Mountains

If you love the outdoors as much as us here at the Ramada Pigeon Forge, you need to check out our favorite spots for hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains! The country's most visited National Park is home to some of the best hiking trails and breathtaking scenery in the whole world.

  • Rocky Top - For those of you who are really looking for a good workout, this 5-mile hike will have you sweating but the payoff is immeasurable. If it's a clear day, Spence Field will provide incredible views of the Smokies in North Carolina.

  • Abrams Falls - What the 20-foot high Abrams Falls lack for in height, they make up for with sheer power. These falls are the most powerful surges of water in the park, which makes for astonishing views and also provides a nice cool down in the middle of your moderate 5.1-mile round-trip hike.

  • Andrews Bald - This 1.7-mile hike is a short one, but don't let it fool you! It can be relatively strenuous at times, but the Smoky Mountains love to reward its adventurers. Once you arrive at the open grassy meadows that span countless acres, you might think you're in a movie! Enjoy the blissful peace and serenity of the meadow as you take a break from your adventuring. It's also a great place to enjoy a day picnic!

The amount of options here in the Great Smoky Mountains are limitless, so we're sure you'll find something that's just perfect for what you're looking for. Afterwards, head on back to the Ramada and rest those tired feet after a long day of fun!
