Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales

All summer long in the Smoky Mountains, take a walk back through time in Gatlinburg, just minutes from us here at the Ramada of Pigeon Forge, for the 11th season of Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales. Every evening after 6:00 p.m., street performers, musicians, and actors take over the streets of downtown to create an unforgettable and memorable entertainment experience. Enjoy the scenic and pedestrian friendly town of Gatlinburg as performers take you back to as early as the beginning of the 19th century.

This seven-week event highlights and strives to preserve the music and heritage of the Smoky Mountains. Every night, musical performers and storytellers arrive in the center of town to morph it into an old-timey oasis of music, entertainment, and education.

Bring the kids out and enjoy some classic mountain bluegrass and country standards that have been around for years and years. Storytellers will entice and mesmerize spectators with folktales that have been passed down for centuries and generations. Artisans also will be found giving away their various crafts and other homemade goods.

This festival also highlights the pedestrian-friendly qualities of Gatlinburg. As you walk through and explore the easily accessible downtown area, you'll find you keep coming across new performers. This further enhances the feeling that you truly are back in time at the Great Smoky Mountains of yesteryear.

Tunes & Tales runs every night through July 30th. Don't miss all the magic, history, and culture that this beautiful area of the Smoky Mountains has to offer! After a long day of walking, come back and relax with us here at the Ramada!
