St. Patrick's Day in Pigeon Forge

In just one week, the streets of Pigeon Forge will be lined with green in celebration of St. Patrick's Day! We go all out for our favorite Irish holiday - would you expect anything else? So if you're going to be spending this St. Patrick's day with us here at the Ramada of Pigeon Forge, you've got the luck of the Irish on your side! Here are a few great ideas to celebrate on the 17th.

Enjoy a traditional meal of corn beef, cabbage, potatoes, and a pint on the side! There are plenty of great signature restaurants in town who will be featuring specials all day long. Our favorite place might take the cake though! The newly established but already widely popular Local Goat Tavern promises to deliver both in terms of quality and atmosphere. With a wide-ranging menu of beers and locally sourced food, not to mention a great staff, it's sure to be the premier party spot!

As per usual, the Titanic Museum of Pigeon Forge honors its Irish heritage (the ill-fated cruiseliner was built in Ireland) with special exhibits and stories about the 159 Irish passengers and crew aboard the ship. Or if you'd like to get outside, see if you can find a four-leafed clover in the Great Smoky Mountains! Celtic legend has it that these mythical plants ward off dark spirits. Maybe you'll find one in the old Smokies!

Whatever you choose to do, we here at the Ramada wish you a very happy one. And remember - everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day!
