The 7th Annual Stringtime in the Smokies and Cornhole Tournament

Next Saturday, August 6th, you can get out and enjoy Tennessee tradition! Take part in a fun-filled day of mountain music and games at the 7th Annual Stringtime in the Smokies and Smoky Mountain Cornhole Tournament! It's all being held down at the Old Mill Square right here in Piegon Forge, just minutes from us at the Ramada. There will be an array of bluegrass and country music to go along with the tournament, where both amateurs and professionals compete. So whether you want to sit back and enjoy the music and competition, or get in there for yourself, it's the perfect event for everyone!

Everything kicks off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning at this old but still functioning gristmill that was built way back in 1830. There's nothing quite like hearing live bluegrass on a summer day in the Smokies. All day long there will be great music from local and regional artists who have all come to take part in this quirky and fun festival. There will also be plenty of food to go around, so make sure you come hungry!

If you'd rather compete in the tournament than just be a bystander, registration is still open to both professional competitive and amateur non-competitive teams! Head on over to https://app.emailmeform.com/builder/form/VtC8cdA1p4He3b2 to register now and get ready for Saturday! This new festival has quickly become a part of the unique fabric that makes up the community of Pigeon Forge. So while you're staying with us here at the Ramada, be sure to get out there and take part in the fun!
