Where are the Smoky Mountains?
The giant mountains engulfing the 520,000 square acres between western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee is the designated region for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The mountains are characterized by the bluish mist covering the peaks and valleys the entire year.
