The 1-11-mile one-way road is popular for its glorious sights of the mountains, quaint old churches, log cabins, and wildlife viewing. Hillside Winery is reopening on March 17. Do not miss the opportunity to attend the free wine tastings at Apple Barn Winery. Fruit wines like watermelon are the specialty of Mountain Valley Winery as are the mature wines with aromas of mocha and plum at Mill Bridge Winery. However, do make prior reservations as walk-ins are not being encouraged.
