The Island in Pigeon Forge is overflowing with fun family activities in the Great Smoky Mountains. The Island features 60 retail shops, restaurants, thrill rides, attractions, live entertainment and seasonal events. Check out the spectacular Island Show Fountain where 89 water nozzles and dazzling lights display beautiful movements choreographed to music. Ride on the 200-foot tall Great Smoky Mountain Wheel and enjoy amazing views of the mountains. Spend the day shopping, riding rides, playing games, enjoying live music and dining at wonderful restaurants, including Paula Deen's Family Kitchen.

  • Is The Island in Pigeon Forge pet friendly?

    Yes, The Island of Pigeon Forge isn't just for people but also your furry friends as well. Dogs on leashes are allowed in the park; however, it is up to each individual business within The Island to choose whether to allow pets into their establishment. Service dogs are always welcome but may not be allowed on certain rides. 
  • What is nightlife like on The Island?

    See breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains from the 200 foot-tall Ferris wheel. When the sun goes down, the wheel lights up with thousands of colored LED lights, making this ride the place to be every night. The Island offers a festive nightlife scene of shows and concerts, and great eateries and bars like Margaritaville, Dick’s Last Resort, Dude's Daiquiris and Timberwood Grill.
